Services & Product Info

Below is a summary of my services.  More detailed information is available in my company brochure upon request.
  • Pets are housed on the main floor of my home so they will benefit from human company during the day.
  • Pets who are shedding or molting will be regularly groomed for their comfort.
  • My home is located in a safe neighborhood, and is ADT-alarmed to deter potential intruders.  Our climate is controlled by a central air system.
  • If you are not able to bring your pet’s home along, I will provide one for an additional fee as long as there is one available.  Currently I have two on-site accommodations.
  • ** If your pets are housed separately at home, they must be housed separately here as well.  Injury or death can result from putting animals together that should be dwelling separately.
  • All birds need to come to me in their own cages or a roomy travel cage they are familiar with.  Your bird’s cage design must allow me to care for your pet without risking their escape and injury.
  • Due to the high instance of escapees from Habitrail systems, I will be happy to set Hammy up in our tank for his stay.
  • If your pet is prone to biting, that is fine, I don’t discriminate!
  • If Mopsey is under the weather, she is still welcome to come and stay at Piccoli-Animali as long as she brings a clearance note from her vet stating that she is not contagious to the other pets.  Medication will be administered as per your written instructions, at an additional nominal fee outlined in the Care Fees section.

  • Emergency measures:  Sick pets are taken to the nearest vet hospital unless otherwise directed.  Full information on emergency procedures may be found in the Client Information folder & our brochure.
  • My availability & making a reservation:  Dates that I will not be able to provide boarding services are regularly posted under “News from Piccoli-Animali”.  Reservations may be made by phone or email.

  • I use newspaper to line bird’s cages.
